TOM PETTY AND THE HARTBREAKERS - Echo
Tom Petty's album of 1999, is what my colleague has pointed Innes right, rocking back, sparse and edgy than the three previous albums, and populated for long stretches of mid-tempo numbers and slow rhythms. Not all songs are part of the central incisors material from Tom Petty, but he works hard on his divorce many songs as it goes just rather zacher. But again many beautiful compositions Petty, "Room at the top" and "Echo" for example, or the cool "Swinging". "I do not want to fight" even Kurt Cobain would have been good. My favorite is "Accused Of Love", essentially a schnürlgrader Country Song, which he breaks in the chorus with fast chord changes and lead to a more coherent, byrdeseke melody line. Great songwriting over long distances, but because the tempo is he, perhaps by listening to three songs too long.
