I Captain Beefheart & his Magic Band only just discovered very late, as my uncle has my attention, I would sing "Beefheartmäßig Captain" on one of my shots. It is the song where I sometimes a little uncontrolled croak.
I own even an album by him, namely his debut "Safe as milk" in 1967. Then there are some of the best known blues and rock riffs. Things that everyone knows and no one can match. So you can make unforgettable. There are probably all more detailed obituaries that can unravel his music and his influence more accurate and better. But the Captain Beefheart is for me. And now I hear "Safe as milk". I advise anyone in time to do the same.
